My 4 year old autistic son was assaulted by his teacher at the public school that he attends. He has a bruise on his inner arm from the way that his teacher snatched him. From the look of his bruise it looks like she dug her nails in his skin.

The teacher snatched him by the arm, then proceeded to pull him by the arm to the classroom alone without the two teacher's aides and other students. Not before gathering her things, when my son tried to give his teacher one of her items she then aggressively snatched the item from my son's hand. This is not an isolated incident, there was another incident that took place where she stated that he threw himself from a chair. I wasn't made aware until pick up time. When she got my son inside the vehicle she stated that "she didn't think that he had a bruise," as if she didn't look when it took place. The school has been made aware of this multiple times but continue to allow this teacher to be around other children. We were told there were no cameras on the playground where this took place. There were two teacher's aides only present on the playground that day. I do know that the teachers stories were not consistent, they went as far as lying saying that there was another person on this playground besides those teachers. The Department of Children's Services stated that there was no camera that picked that person up leading to outside. The principal of the school also placed blame on my 4 year old autistic son. The principal did inform me, the mother, that his teacher withheld information from her concerning this incident. 

My husband and I arrived early during pick up and saw this take place that afternoon in the car rider line. I am asking for her to be removed from teaching my son as well as all other children in the district. She does not have temperament or training to work with children that are not only like my son but any at all. She should be removed immediately! 

These assaults keep taking place in this same school! Many other parents have come forward with incidents that have taken place against their children, most autistic, there were a few that were not as well. Let's get this under control now! Protect our children and keep them safe. Some of our children aren't able to express themselves and may be non-verbal. We are their voices!
