The Issue

As a concerned parent and member of our community, this issue hits home more than anything. Our children, our educators, our families are deeply embedded in this institution - it is more than just a school, it is a crucial part of our lives. Recently, there have emerged indications of some disturbing practices within the administration of our beloved school. Issues that directly impact our students and staff are being swept under the carpet rather than being addressed openly and honestly.

Credible education establishments should thrive on clarity, fairness, and truth. Any deviation from these values threatens the safe and conducive learning environment our students deserve.

We demand a thorough and independent investigation into our school's administration to scrutinize these detrimental practices. This is a proper course of action in order to ensure that our school can be a fully safe, trusted, and transparent place for our students and staff to flourish. Please stand with us in this fight for our school's integrity, a fight for our children, and a fight for our future. Sign the petition today.

“As your District 2 Aiken County Public School District (ACPSD) School Board representative, I would like to take a moment to acknowledge the concerns raised in the Change.org petition regarding issues at Redcliffe Elementary School. I understand that these matters are of great importance to our community, and I am committed to addressing them with the seriousness they deserve. It is essential to recognize that when a constituent brings forward a concern, particularly after following the appropriate channels, and feels the resolution is unsatisfactory, they have the right to reach out to their representatives and attend School Board meetings to express their views. Your voice is an integral part of this district, and I encourage you to continue engaging in these discussions. While it is important to note that raising a concern does not automatically guarantee a change or agreement on the issue, transparency, trust, and collaboration are fundamental to creating an environment that fosters the success and well-being of all students. Our students deserve nothing less. I would also like to invite you to attend the next regularly scheduled School Board meeting on Monday, April 22 at 6 PM, which will be held at the Brookhaven ACPSD district office in Aiken. If you wish to speak during public participation, please plan to arrive early to sign up. Thank you for your dedication to the district and your continued advocacy for the well-being of our students. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and working together towards a positive outcome for our community.”
