I wasn't surprised to read that I wasn't the only victim of Patrick Gregory Bray's illegal and unethical practices when he was Deputy of the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office in Clackamas, Oregon. I have a lot of respect for law enforcement, but it's officers like Patrick Bray that give law enforcement a bad reputation. I'll give a couple of examples of this before I speak about my encounter with him:

• Bliss v. Adewusi is an ongoing case that began in 2024 involving Patrick Bray where he and others conspired to get Nigel Bliss and his wife to falsely confess to hurting their infant. It was such a scandal that a documentary titled Shaken was filmed depicting the corruption of Clackamas County's law enforcement. Patrick Bray quit his job shortly after the allegations began and flew to Surprise, Arizona where he now resides doing polygraphs. • Leonetti v. Bray happened in 2016 when a coach was unjustly arrested by Patrick Bray. It led to a $7.5M lawsuit: https://www.oregonlive.com/clackamascounty/2016/02/clackamas_county_denies_wrongd.html

I met Patrick Bray in 2009 when I was feuding with another student. It continued for weeks until I was told to report to the Dean of Students office where Patrick Bray sat there and began to treat me like a criminal, partly because the other student's parents complained by mine didn't. I didn't have my miranda rights read to me, I was told that I'd be placed in handcuffs, I was repeatedly cursed at, and a witness who initially sided with me changed his story because Bray told him that he'd be expelled if he didn't. I became an obsession of Patrick Bray so much so that he had me enter his office again a year later and started asking me about my sexual orientation. I witnessed him being abusive to other students throughout the year and a half, even pushing a student named Jacob for being 'disrespectful' to him.

It's ashame that there was no accountability, even in an area like a school which is supposed to be safe for children. I urge the Attorney General of Arizona to investigate Patrick Bray, as I feel like to quit his job and left Oregon in lieu of Arizona to avoid prosecution.
