The Issue

On August 19th, 2023, my life was turned upside down when three of my service dogs were seized from my property in Muskogee. Despite not being present at the time, the city authorities, accompanied by animal control officers, a bulldozer, tow truck, and police, descended on my lot. It was a distressing experience, made even more difficult by the apparent lack of probable cause or warning.

Officers Jimmy Elliot and Phillip Blair were involved in the seizure, and since the incident, they have offered conflicting accounts regarding the reasons behind seizing my dogs. Their actions seem to be part of a broader attempt to force me out of town, a sentiment that feels like harassment and intimidation.

The Muskogee Animal Shelter’s practices must be thoroughly examined as they appear to be operating in violation of state and local animal welfare laws. I am advocating for a comprehensive and unbiased investigation into their practices. It is crucial that they are held accountable for any unlawful activities.

Additionally, I am requesting the return of my service dogs. These animals are not just pets; they are vital to my daily life and well-being. Their absence continues to affect me emotionally and physically, and I'm deeply concerned for their safety and well-being.

We need your support to ensure justice is served. Please sign this petition to demand an investigation into the Muskogee Animal Shelter and the return of my service dogs. Together, we can make a difference and ensure no one else has to go through such an ordeal.
