Investigate Mooji Foundation Ltd. for Alleged Spiritual Abuse

Investigate Mooji Foundation Ltd. for Alleged Spiritual Abuse
The Issue
I am personally connected to this issue, having known one of the four individuals who tragically took their own lives after becoming deeply involved with the teachings of Tony Moo-Young ("Mooji"). This person believed that these teachings were all they needed, when in reality, they desperately required professional psychiatric help.
Tony Moo-Young and his organization, the Mooji Foundation Ltd., have been surrounded by numerous allegations of spiritual abuse. These allegations are not isolated incidents but form a disturbing pattern that has resulted in severe consequences including suicide attempts and loss of life.
Moreover, many former followers describe the environment fostered by Mooji as cult-like. This is not a term to be used lightly; it signifies manipulation, control and often leads to harmful outcomes for those involved.
A number of respected Spiritual organizations, publishers, and programs including Sounds True, and the popular and respected series Buddha at the Gaspump have removed "Mooji" interviews and articles from their platforms after being being made aware of the disillusionment, and abuse his former students have reported.
Fellow teachers they knew and trusted relayed that yes, they too had heard first hand accounts from ex-followers confirming spiritual abuse.
Given these serious concerns surrounding the activities of Tony Moo-Young and his foundation, we urge the Charity Commission for England and Wales to conduct an in-depth investigation into their behavior and practices. If found guilty of such abuses or misconducts that violate charity regulations or laws protecting individuals' rights and welfare, we demand that their charity status be revoked.
This is not just about holding one organization accountable; it's about ensuring safety for vulnerable individuals seeking spiritual guidance. Please sign this petition to support our call for a thorough investigation into the alleged abuses by Tony Moo-Young ("Mooji") and his foundation.
