Judge Bruce Schroeder is presiding over the Kyle Rittenhouse trial and has repeatedly displayed bias in favor of Rittenhouse. He should be INVESTIGATED and REMOVED from his position.

Aside from his lack of ethics and unprofessional behavior, here are a few of his rulings in this case:

1 - Schroeder would not allow video of Rittenhouse saying he wanted to shoot a group of people coming out of a CVS (two weeks before he shot and killed people in Kenosha) to be shown to the jury.

2 - Schroeder would not allow the people killed by Rittenhouse to be called victims, but said the defense could refer to them as rioters, looters and arsonists. (Sidenote: Merriam Webster defines victim as, "a person harmed, injured, or killed as a result of a crime, accident, or other event or action.")

3 - Schroeder did nothing when Rittenhouse violated the terms of his bond when he failed to notify the court that he had moved. Additionally, once this was presented to Schroeder in court, Schroeder said the prosecution did not need to have Rittenhouse's new address. Rittenhouse might not have known that he was supposed to update his address, but I'm sure his attorney's did. Also, doesn't the prosecution need to know where he is to ensure he has not further violated his bond?

4 - Schroeder would not allow the jury to see Rittenhouse wearing a shirt that said "Free as Fuck" when he was out on bond, even though Rittenhouse wanted the jury to buy into his emotional (and tearless) crying on the stand.

5 - Schroeder got testy with the prosecution when they asked Rittenhouse why he thought he needed to carry an AR-15. So this is a judge that doesn't think a minor who was carrying a weapon illegally should not be asked why he had that weapon?

This judge is an embarrassment to the judicial system and needs to be held accountable for his blatant preference for Rittenhouse.

11/13/21 UPDATE

6 - Schroeder made this comment in court: I hope the Asian food isn’t coming … isn’t on one of those boats from Long Beach Harbor. First, why did he feel the need to specify "Asian" food unless he specifically wanted to throw an anti-Asian comment out there for everyone to hear? Furthermore, his reference to the supply chain issue is an obvious political reference - something he has said time and time again during this trial that he does not want in his courtroom. I truly believe these comments were deliberate and said when everyone was breaking for lunch so he could use the excuse of the trial not being “actively” in session if anyone called him on it.

7 - Schroeder also, supposedly, failed to turn his phone off during the trial. This gave everyone (including the jury) a chance to hear his ringtone, which just happens to be the exact version of God Bless the USA used as the opening song for Trump rallies.

I am truly inclined to believe that everything this judge does is deliberate. He knows the world is watching, including the far-right bullies who have praised everything he has said and done throughout this trial.
