The Issue

As a resident of the town and a fierce lover of animals, I have become increasingly concerned with the activities of Good Dog Niagara, Leah Dolbeck, and Ann Schwoob. My heart aches at the plight of the dogs who might be suffering at their hands, and the seeming disregard for this by the police and the local humane society continues to baffle me.

Reports from other citizens have suspicion that practices bordering on animal abuse are continuing unabated at this establishment. Unfortunately, these reports have not gained the urgent attention they deserve from the authorities. These alleged acts are not only inhumane, but they also go against the Animal Welfare Act, that clearly defines and prohibits such behavior.

As per the Ontario SPCA, they investigate about 17,000 animal cruelty allegations each year.  If this allegation is validated, Good Dog Niagara, Leah Dolbeck, and Ann Schwoob could be part of the grim statistic of over a million cases of animal abuse across North America, contributing to the heart-wrenching suffering of innocent animals.

It is our moral duty as sentient beings to ensure the welfare and wellbeing of all animals, and to take action when their rights are being potentially violated. We are, therefore, calling on relevant authorities to conduct a comprehensive and immediate investigation into the activities of Good Dog Niagara, Leah Dolbeck, and Ann Schwoob.

The time has come for our concerns about potential animal abuse to be taken seriously. Ignorance can no longer be an option. Sign this petition to let the authorities know that we demand justice for these dogs, and to ensure stricter enforcement of animal rights in our town.
