As a loving father who has been unjustly separated from his children for over five long years and three months due to false accusations and wrongful convictions, it is my plea to bring this matter to the attention of Governor Hochul and the state comptroller of New York.

Ex-police officer Lane Schlesinger from New Rochelle New York wrongfully arrested me in 2018 during a pre-scheduled, prepaid and pre-confirmed court-ordered visitation with my autistic son. Such misuse of power and violation of justice have not only damaged my personal life but also the emotional wellbeing of my children. Despite Terminated Officer Lane Schlesinger's being designated , “pattern misconduct, abusing and lying”, by Attorney General Leticia James on 5/24/24 in her annual Law Enforcement Misconduct Report, these false charges have not been reviewed or vacated by Westchester District Attorney Susan Cacace's office.

We need transparency and accountability in our legal system. It's high time for Governor Hochul and the state comptroller to launch an investigation into the matter and suspending the salary of District Attorney Susan Cacace and Assistant Distruct Attorney, Joyce Miller, until they fulfills their duties. With this, we will not only ensure justice for one father, but preserve the faith of many in the justice system.
