I am a customer of the Cumberland Valley RECC electric company, living on a set income with no means to cover sudden increases in bills. Over the past few months, not only has my electric bill doubled, but many in my neighborhood, friends, and co-workers have been experiencing similar shocks. We are struggling to understand why we are being financially strained in this manner. We are irked by the environmental surcharge imposed on us and the premise of being charged simply for being customers.

Reports suggest that this isn't an isolated problem, but a distressing trend experienced by many of Cumberland Valley RECC's customers. We need an intervention that will provide transparency and fairness in our billing practices and charges. This responsible authority must step in to scrutinize and investigate Cumberland Valley RECC for overcharging.

We call upon the Public Service Commission to take immediate action, conduct an extensive, fair, and transparent investigation into Cumberland Valley RECC's billing practices and rates. The results of these investigations should be made public, and any excessive charges rectified transparently.
