To: Kash Patel (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and the Department of Justice Oversight Committees

​We are petitioning for a formal federal investigation into systemic corporate overreach, consumer exploitation, and local law enforcement misconduct surrounding the civil dispute involving Benjamin Paul Schneider (known online as "Reckless Ben") and the recovery of a $200,000 Star Wars LEGO collection belonging to an elderly citizen.

​The Issue:

​Ben Schneider was acting to assist a vulnerable citizen in enforcing a civil matter rooted in a court-ordered default judgment regarding a wrongfully withheld, high-value collection. Instead of the corporate entity being held fully accountable for taking advantage of everyday citizens, the focus has been weaponized against the individual exposing the wrongdoing.  

​Furthermore, we are calling for a strict investigation into the actions of the American Fork Police Department. Rather than upholding neutral law enforcement, officers have repeatedly arrested and targeted Ben Schneider, creating legally questionable pretexts to halt his efforts to fulfill what courts and civil processes intended. This represents a disturbing pattern of a local police force seemingly acting to protect corporate interests and powerful individuals over the rights of ordinary citizens.

Our Demands:

​FBI Intervention: We call upon Kash Patel and the dedicated teams at the Federal Bureau of Investigation to personally look into this case as part of their ongoing crackdown on corporate entities and predatory operations that exploit everyday citizens.

​Police Accountability: We demand an independent Department of Justice or internal affairs investigation into the local Police Department for patterns of targeted harassment, unlawful arrests, and potential violations of civil rights under the color of law.

​Protection for Whistleblowers: Ensure that citizens and consumer advocates who expose corporate wrongdoing are not subjected to retaliatory law enforcement actions meant to silence them.
