The image above is a single screenshot of two paragraphs from a science textbook published by Golden Press, NY, copyright 1958 titled "The World of Science".
Reading this textbook, as a woman, in particular, is painful.
The truth is women dream, women have eyes and we see the stars. The stars are not just for men to gaze upon and wonder... they belong to all of us. God-given or otherwise...
Girls of today have a right to become astronomers, as much as any boy. They too can map the universe and gaze upon the stars. They too can dream.
We must do everything in our power to ensure no one takes this from them.
