Investigate ALL OVERDOSE DEATHS & hold drug dealers accountable in Indiana

On December 21, 2016 I lost my 21 year old daughter to a drug overdose. I know all the players involved in her sudden death. I live in Richmond Indiana & I am saddened to learn that nothing can be done. She paid the ultimate price with her life but I believe she is not the only one to blame. I was refused a full investigation into her death by the lead detective at the Richmond Police department because she had known drug abuse history. However the county coroner ordered an autopsy on my daughter because there was no evidence at the scene to suggest that she died of an overdose.  The lead detective  refusing to investigate these deaths because the victim has a drug abuse history is unjustified. I have EVERY reason to suspect that my daughter was given an intentional lethal dose & essentially murdered.  It became Indiana state law on July 1st, 2018 that these suspected cases of overdoses must be fully investigated but this lead detective continues to refuse to fully investigate so no dealers are ever prosecuted for their role in that persons death.  #RIPLingLing
