As a result of Texas Governor Greg Abbott's recent call to pardon convicted murderer Daniel Perry I'm writing this petition to call for his impeachment under the Texas state constitution's Article 15. Along with impeaching Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick for complying with his actions since his appointment to the seat in 2015. Since his 2014 election, time and time again has Abbott shown he was not afraid of abusing the powers granted to him by the people of the great state of Texas. From ordering his then chief of energy to hike prices on power during the 2021 freeze, which contributed to the deaths of thousands of Texans at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic; to his refusal to let go of emergency declaration powers granted to him at the start of the pandemic. It is high time we the people of Texas show him we will not stand for his continued overreach unto the various counties.

At a time of national unease and various state level infringements on individual's rights; it is important for us to stand up to the Governor and his cronies and say 'enough is enough' when it comes to overstepping the wishes of the various cities and counties of Texas. 
If not, then what is left of our many resident's desire to put an end of governmental over reach? does that desire stop at the state level? Of course not, we must show that ANY governmental overreach is not to be permitted. 

If you believe that Abbott and his overreach should be stopped, then please sign this petition. Let it be known to our state's legislators that enough is enough when it comes to Abbott and Patrick's overreach and compliance with overreach. Let it be shown how Texas can be an example on the national level when it comes to dealing with this. Thank you.
