Introduce Indian Menu Options at McDonald's, Subway, and Domino's in the United States
The Issue
This petition is born out of a deep love for food and the rich tapestry of flavors it can offer. I have been fortunate enough to grow up enjoying Indian cuisine, a cornerstone of my family's culinary traditions. When I moved to the United States, I found an unexpected affection for fast-food chains like McDonald's, Subway, and Domino's. However, despite this newfound appreciation for American fast food culture, there was always something missing - the authentic taste of India.
It is with this sentiment that we call on these popular fast-food chains to introduce Indian menu options that they have in India in their US outlets. The introduction of such items would not only increase your revenue but also introduce Americans to a new world of flavors.
According to Statista (2020), there are approximately 4 million Indians residing in the U.S., making them one of the largest immigrant groups in the country. Additionally, Indian cuisine has been growing steadily popular among non-Indian Americans as well; according to the Washington Post (2019), curry houses (Indian taste) have seen an increase in patronage from non-Indians by 24% over five years.
Introducing an Indian menu at these establishments across America would not only diversify their offerings but also cater better to a significant demographic that yearns for familiar tastes amidst foreign lands.
In conclusion, we urge McDonald’s Corporation CEO Chris Kempczinski; Subway’s CEO John Chidsey; and Domino’s CEO Russell J. Weiner, along with other decision-makers within these organizations – to listen to our plea! Embrace diversity through your menus by incorporating authentic Indian outlet menus into your repertoire!
Please sign this petition if you believe that everyone should be able to enjoy diverse food options no matter where they are!
