I'm a proud Kosovar living in Ireland, and like many of the estimated 1500 to 3000 people here with a Kosovar background, I long for a direct connection between my adopted home in Ireland and my heart's home in Kosovo. Currently, traveling to Pristina requires multiple flights or long journeys, which is not only tiring but also often expensive and time-consuming.

Direct flights from Dublin to Tirana already exist, which is fantastic for the Albanian community, so it's sensible to extend this service to Pristina, the capital city of Kosovo which has ethnic Albanians as a majority. The demand is evident: Kosovars in Ireland regularly travel back home for family visits, cultural engagements, and personal obligations. Having a direct flight would save countless hours and reduce the stress associated with travel.

Moreover, a direct flight would strengthen the connection between Ireland and Kosovo, facilitating business exchanges, tourism, and cultural understanding. With Kosovo's growing relevance in the region and its appeal as a travel destination, there's a real opportunity for airlines to explore this route.
