The need for this change came about when close encounters with oncoming traffic on my daily walks at our local dog and children's parks became a frequent reality. The lack of visibility around the corner creates a dangerous environment for both the children and dogs who visit these parks regularly.

Instating a 4-way stop and crosswalks at the corner near our parks can significantly enhance safety. It ensures that everyone - drivers, pedestrians, children and dogs - has designated time and space to navigate the intersection.
