Internet users should be paid for the time they spend on the internet. This could start on Facebook. People should be remunerated for the productivity they create for the economy online while creating data on sites like Facebook, tinder, what’s app, instagram, amazon et all. This is the biggest labour issue of our age. Peoples data and behaviour should be treated somewhat like intellectual property. Users deserve a piece of the pie. The State can then tax the users, and the big internet companies will no longer be able to shield most of the profit in Ireland, Jersey and now the US. The tax gleaned from the users can then go to fund out NHS, schools, parks, welfare system, cultural institutions and programs, police, Universities, Defense and Research and Development. Stop the digital serfdom!
