Make Synchronized Figure Skating an Olympic Event

Synchronized Skating is one of the fastest-growing ice sports in the world with over 22 countries from 5 continents competing at the international and world level.

Having been recognized as a World Cup event in 1996, a World Championship event in 2000, and a Winter Universiades event in 2007, the next logical step for this fast-growing, exciting and athletic discipline is the Winter Olympic Games.

It's time for the elite athletes of this discipline to have a chance to compete on the global stage and show their hard work, skill and expertise to the world.

"The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part" - Pierre de Coubertin, IOC Founder; Father of the modern Olympic Games
