The global international mining mineral industry is massive and is required for important parts of our modern society in technology, especially semiconductors to function. 

Sadly, many of these rare and valuable minerals & resources are sourced in 3rd world countries which do not hold up to any international environmental codes. These corrupt organisations and companies exploit less stable or secure countries for financial gain. 

They operate illegal mining operations, which for starters clear important areas of the environment like rainforests and mangroves, destroying biodiversity. They continue to dump toxic chemicals in rivers, oceans and on the land while releasing uncontrolled amounts of carbon emissions contributing heavily to climate change. This all leads to incredible environmental damage typically destroying 70% of biodiversity in 5 years over a 5-kilometre radius. 

We must put a stop to this now!

We demand that all governments from Australia to the United States have oversight over all mining activities in which they are involved internationally, from all types of trade and business! And to deal with and bring up these issues with the United Nations!
