The Issue

Strong and Immediate Condemnation of the Aerial Attack on Shajare Tayyebe School in Minab by the United States of America:
A school is a safe haven for children and teachers, a symbol of the most defenseless segment of society against violence. The unilateralism of arrogant governments in various countries, and their drive to maximize their own profits by exploiting the resources of other nations, has resulted in the annual occurrence of various attacks on schools and the massacre of students worldwide. Deliberate and conscious attacks on such places go beyond a violation of human rights; they are a planned genocide and an organized crime against humanity. The use of devastating military power against a place whose only sounds are the laughter of children and the instruction of teachers demonstrates a complete collapse of humanity and naked savagery. Today, in the tragedy of the Shajare Tayyebe School in Minab, Iran, there is no justification for this two-stage massacre of children; this act will be an eternal and unforgettable stain on the record of its perpetrators.
We, the undersigned, with feelings of shock, anger, and profound sorrow, condemn in the strongest possible terms the horrific and inhuman crime of the bombing of the Shajare Tayyebe School in Minab city by the inhabitants of Epstein Island, who are child-killers, on the morning of February 28, 2026. This ruthless attack, which resulted in the martyrdom and injury of dozens of children and innocent citizens, is not only a gross violation of human rights and international humanitarian law but also an obvious crime against humanity and a clear instance of a war crime.
This barbaric act desecrates all ethical standards and international treaties, including the four Geneva Conventions of 1949, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the Charter of the United Nations, and customary international rules. The deliberate targeting of an educational center, which should be a safe sanctuary for children, signifies a complete moral collapse and absolute disregard for human values on the part of the perpetrators of this catastrophe.
We record this crime among the darkest pages of contemporary history and warn the international community that silence or inaction regarding it will mean encouraging and repeating such tragedies in the future. It must be said to the governments of other countries: if this spiral of silence is not broken, it is entirely expected that in the near future we will witness the victimization of children of other nationalities, as they recognize no limits for their aggression.
With a loud and united voice, we call upon the international community and, in particular, the following bodies to act without delay and with full decisiveness and to take a clear stance:
-To the United Nations Human Rights Council: To convene an emergency session to investigate this crime and to adopt decisive resolutions for its condemnation and the prosecution of its perpetrators.
-To the Secretary-General of the United Nations: To explicitly condemn this attack and utilize all available mechanisms to hold the perpetrators of these crimes accountable.
-To the United Nations Security Council: To consider this attack as a threat to international peace and security and to take necessary actions.
-To Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch, and other human rights advocacy organizations: To comprehensively and accurately document this crime and globally publish their reports to fully expose its dimensions.
-To the International Committee of the Red Cross and UNICEF: To immediately assess the human toll and provide humanitarian assistance to the victims and grieving families, and to report on the destructive impact of this attack on children.
-The urgent and decisive demands of us, the signatories, are as follows:
-The identification, prosecution, and trial of all those involved and commanders responsible for this criminal attack, including decision-makers at high levels, in a competent international court.
-The public and official declaration of these individuals as war criminals, criminals against humanity, and gross violators of human rights by international judicial and legal authorities.
-The formation of an independent and impartial international commission for a complete and transparent investigation into the details of this attack and to identify all its dimensions.
-The payment of full and unconditional compensation by the government of the United States of America to the families of the martyrs and the injured, and for the complete reconstruction of damaged schools and educational centers.
-A formal and public apology from the government of the United States of America to the noble and great nation of Iran and the international community.
We call upon all governments, non-governmental organizations, legal personalities, and awakened consciences worldwide to join this statement and increase their moral and legal pressure to realize these demands. The time for shame and silence has passed. Today is the day of seeking justice for all the children who have fallen victim to the bestial fury of colonialists, especially the children of the Shajare Tayyebe School in Minab. This action of ours is a way of safeguarding human dignity. We remind that history will record its final judgment based on our actions today. Inaction in the face of such a crime is complicity with oppression and injustice. We believe that the global conscience will awaken, and the cry for justice from the victims of this tragedy will resonate in the annals of history until justice is fully achieved.
