Reverse the decision to change the Olympic format from five gymnasts to four.

The International Gymnastics Federation has passed a decision at the recent FIG council meeting in Melbourne to reduce the Olympic format from five gymnasts to a team format will be four gymnasts, four compete on each apparatus, and three scores count.
The best countries will be able to qualify up to two individual gymnasts also through World Cups, Challenge Cups, and Continental Championships.
This not only means the individual specialists would not win a team medal, it also puts countries who are not entirely on the map for gymnastics at a disadvantage to place well at the Olympics and also to qualify to other FIG meets.
Cutting the teams from six gymnasts to five was bad enough, but this is now getting ridiculous.
If you are a gymnastics fan, coach, journalist, member or even a gymnast yourself and you oppose this new format, then be my guest and sign this petition.
It is about time the FIG starts thinking about what the gymnastics community wants to see changed.
