Approve "faux leather" balls!. Don't turn the gentleman's game into hell for poor animals!

Cricket is known to be the gentleman's game. However, it isn't really too gentle for the poor animals which are being tortured agonizingly for the production of leather balls used in cricket.
Not only for the animals, but it also is a very lethal job for the workers involved in leather industry. Working in the leather industry turned out to be fatal for many people .
The leather industry is a huge cause for the rise of global pollution as it releases many toxic chemicals into the air, rivers, sea, etc. This industry also consumes massive amounts of fossil fuels, thereby increasing the carbon footprint. Everyday, millions of cricket balls are manufactured and, each and every ball that we are playing with, is accounting for the life of an animal and the lives of our future generation..
Therefore I believe that there must be a reform in it by discarding the inhumane, toxic and lethal pollutant and start using comparatively better eco friendly options like "synthetic leather" , or come up with a bio degradable material which can be used in the manufacture of cricket balls.
This is a sincere request on behalf of many people and many more voiceless animals which are being killed every minute for the production of millions of cricket balls just for the sake of our "pleasure"...
