This Petition is to raise awareness for what is allegedly happening backstage at McLaren Circus and to hopefully shut it down for good so the animals that are mistreated can be rehabilitated in their correct environment.

McLaren Circus travels around South Africa performing with animals who are forced to perform under high-stress environments.
These environments can include:

▸Living in isolated, barren cages, 24/7 (excluding performance and training times).

▸Travelling around to perform.

▸Abusive training techniques (Whipping, Fear Response, Being Underfed).

There have been countless protests to try and shut McLaren Circus down but with more signatures and creating awareness of the alleged abuse taking place at McLaren Circus, we can hopefully end their support and get them to shut down.

In conclusion, there is no need for animals to perform in circuses as it is only teaching children that animal abuse is acceptable.
