As I drive down Main Street, I see a beautiful kitten running accross the road and I slam on my breaks. When I walk outside to water my flowers, I see a baby puppy wandering around, lost in the woods. 

Many pet owners don't understand what it means to take care of an animal. Although I understand that animals need their exercise, that doesn't mean that they should be neglected so they can wander off and possibly get attacked or hit by a car.

This petition is to STOP pet owners from letting their animals outside without protection and supervision. I believe that we need a law that states that any pet should only be allowed outdoors if they are supervised, on a leash, and/or gated in their yards.
