I live in South Korea and have a dog named Happy. I love her so much and just think she's the best dog ever. I adopted her a little while ago, and it shocked me how nobody would take her. She was clearly suffering, tied up and all. Nobody was doing anything.

I began to think.

What if I hadn't adopted her? Would she have been taken to the dog farmers? Would that ever happen? Why is it allowed? Why?

I asked my mom if our dog would've been taken to the dog farmers. My mom said no. I was relieved and thought that Korea was a kind place.... before my mom told me it was because my dog was too small.

She told me that dog farmers caught large dogs in the street, shove them in cages, and most of them die in the journey due to suffocation, illness, lack of food and water, and no cleaning the feces and urine.

Then they're beaten and eaten alive, because 'they taste better that way'. I want the dog farmers and slaughterers to explain themselves. No, I want them to stop. No. I don't want them to stop. I want them to be shut down. To be punished. They don't care for dogs and cats, who have always been friends of humans.

There are also cows, pigs, and other kinds of meat, but those animals are not beaten nor eaten alive, they are raised to be eaten, and they are not close with people, even though you should limit how much you eat them.
