Mise à jour sur la pétitionRemove Tax Exempt Status for Verity Baptist Church (Sacramento)Comments, Communication, Organization -- housekeeping stuff

I am not the leader of anything; I'm not an organizer.
I'm just a guy who believes people who call their martyr cult -- their hate factory -- a "church" in order to never pay taxes should be driven out of business and ridden out of town on a rail.
I started this petition because I thought it was a good idea. I have the luxury of providing updates because I started it. I do not, however, pretend to speak for or on behalf of any signer -- we are all independent operators.
Many folks agree, obviously, and many folks believe these people have overstepped their 1st Amendment right. I believe they have a right to say whatever they want when it is not a direct threat.
They have made direct threats, of course -- as well as perpetrated physical assaults -- but most of what they threatened is high school bully stuff and most of their physical assaults have been simple and minor, although intentional.
I guess what I don't want to do is give these scumbags the ability to portray themselves as victims; as martyrs.
If a real organizer wants to get involved (say, for example, to organize a large protest of the upcoming RED HOT PREACHOFF CIRCLEJERK scheduled for the end of July at Verity) that would be awesome.
I'm not the guy for organizing lots of people. I do stuff and talk about stuff I'm doing. The people who also want to do the same stuff do it, too.
I do not have a facebook page -- I did at one time but deleted the account. There were at least three accounts pretending to be or to know me. It got weird.
I used facebook for satire, for trolling idiots, for expressing real opinions about stuff I know and about things that bother me (OCD, drug addiction, crappy behavior toward others, sinkholes, etc), and for cracking jokes -- as well as for posting selfies and pictures of my dog and cat -- but too many people didn't get it; didn't get me.
I'm happier without it, and my phone doesn't run out of battery by noon every day -- but it is inconvenient because I cannot respond to comments on my own petition.
Alas.
If you want to contact me for any reason, feel free to email me at seanblackburn@comcast.net and I promise I'll read it and reply.
I'm not anonymous in any way.
Cheers.
Sean
