(I don't use facebook, therefore I cannot respond to comments) Verity Baptist Church has a published schedule of services. They meet: Sunday Morning 10:00 AM to approximately 11:30 AM. Sunday Evening 6:00 PM to approximately 7:00 PM. Wednesday Evening 7:00 PM to approximately 8:00 PM. There is no organized protest; there is only us. We are not a movement with a leader and followers. We are not a cult faction struggling for recognition by fighting a rival cult faction. We are self-motivated individuals from all orientations, backgrounds, faiths and walks-of-life who show up to stand vigil until Verity Baptist Church leaves the Northgate Business Park. That's pretty much it. Not glamorous. If you're a person who needs a slogan, or who needs a leader to motivate your behavior, or who needs confederates to ensure your participation, or who needs an incentive other than your own conviction and faith in human nature to stand in opposition to hatred and bigotry? This may not be for you. This is people who signed a petition in the interest of financially ruining a cult of death; people who will not tolerate bigotry... and it could be more -- I really don't know. I cannot speak for anyone other than myself. I am there to express disapproval of a potentially dangerous cult of exclusion and child abuse. I am there to document faces/names and license plates for law enforcement use after Verity's thugs eventually try to perpetrate violence. I am there to demonstrate the ineffective nature of attempts at intimidation. You need to decide why you want to be there -- whether or not you want to be there -- and if you find a reason and want to show up? Show up. And if you don't? Don't.
