1. ~15 people. 2. Three different attempts to attend Verity's services which were all turned down. And they were all straight people (three young men, a solo late-20's (guessing) guy, and a small family). All more knowledgeable with regard to scripture than anyone at Verity. 3. Verity is required by Sac County to pay for their own security. The main reason to continue protesting, in my opinion -- we use their money and provide work opportunities. The security guys are cool. 4. The lead bullyboy, Ryan, claimed protesters spit on churchgoers during Sunday's protest/rally and claims someone said he was going to rape their children. 5. Ryan also told a protester tonight that he's not like most of the congregation in that he isn't in favor of non-violence, adding "Those (security) cameras are there to protect you." 6. Verity called the Sheriff's Deputies but they were cool and didn't stay long. 7. Roger Jimenez snuck in and out the back door (again). 8. One of their chaste and super-klassy womenfolk, as she left their holy religious service, yelled, "Burn in Hell, faggots!" (although there was not a single gay man protesting tonight) 9. There was a brief conversation about "soul winning" -- and I didn't realize at the time, but Verity does give specific instruction on how to do it -- and it's pretty much just what the Jehovah's Witnesses do on Saturday: Walk door-to-door -- only Verity's approach is more obnoxious. 10. I sense a seething rage in Verity's parishioners but also a cowering fear -- which is more fun than it is dangerous.
