The second children are put into the system, it is very hard to get them out. State workers receive incentives the longer each child is in foster care. Each Dcf worker can have 75 families alone. They are not trained properly and there is miscommunication. All of the immigrant children that were seperated from their families recently will also suffer due to this. Even though they supposively stopped the seperation at the borders- everyone in the news admits it will be likely they will never be reunited in most cases or extremely difficult. This is because of the obsolete system that is in place. What does that tell you? Even families that should never have been questioned or seperated may not be able to be reunified due to the mere unreliability by this system. This isnt just any system, its a system that has the power to tear apart families. All I ask is that it be investigated so that families and children get the attention and proper care that is necessary in this important time in their lives.
