Live Oak Church Rd, Crestview, Florida is not a speedway with a posted Speed Limit of 30mph. It is a county residential road that many commuters use to by-pass Highway 85 traffic. For too long speeders in excess of 50 or more mph have endangered residents, kids, killed pets and wildlife on Live Oak Church Rd. These speeders tailgate, high beam, or pass over double yellow lines to further antagonize drivers abiding by the posted 30mph speed limit. It is time, similar to Antioch Rd, to have the City of Crestview and Okaloosa County Florida officials to install a permanent speed, traffic, vehicle tag photography, and radar monitor to end the excessive speeding and tailgating on Live Oak Church Rd. If more speeding citations are issued this will reduce the dangers excessive speeding will cause.
