As residents of South Central, Los Angeles, we cherish the South LA Wetlands Park as a vital space for community gathering, recreation, and connection with nature. However, the park's current state, particularly the lack of adequate restroom facilities, has significantly reduced its usability and comfort for visitors.

We respectfully urge our Council Member and the Municipality to prioritize the installation of proper public restrooms at South LA Wetlands Park. The absence of these essential facilities has made it challenging for families, seniors, and all park-goers to fully enjoy this beautiful space.

The National Recreation and Park Association recommends that all public parks be equipped with sufficient restroom facilities to ensure a comfortable and dignified experience for visitors. South LA Wetlands Park should meet these basic standards to better serve our community.

We believe that the addition of restroom facilities will greatly improve the park experience, encourage more frequent use, and enhance the overall quality of life in our neighborhood.
