I am a resident living on the corner of Garden Street and Mt. Holly Avenue, terrified everyday as I observe chaotic traffic, constant road accidents, and near-misses occurring frequently on this intersection. My greatest fear is for the safety of the children in our community, my son among them, whose bus stop is located precisely at this dangerous corner.

According to the World Health Organization, proper traffic control measures such as installation of traffic lights or stop signs can significantly reduce road traffic deaths and injuries. Implementing such safety measures not only ensures the safety of the drivers but also pedestrians and neighborhood residents, especially during peak hours.
