We've had several close calls as pedestrians and bikers, and worry about the many young children in our neighborhood. We've loved living here for many years and like others, we are seeing an increase in speeding and the number of cars cutting through to avoid busier, main roads. To ensure the safety of all residents, especially children, we propose installing three (3) speed humps, tables, or cushions on Crestline Road between North Wayne Avenue and Old Eagle School Road. These measures have been proven to reduce vehicle speeds and enhance pedestrian safety (source: National Association of City Transportation Officials).
