We, the undersigned residents of Woodside Drive WM, are writing to formally request the installation of speed bumps and/or additional traffic-calming measures on our road.

Our street has increasingly become a cut-through route for residents/non-resident drivers attempting to avoid a long route. As a result, vehicles frequently travel at excessive speeds well above what is safe for a residential neighborhood. This behavior poses a serious and ongoing safety risk to everyone who lives here.

Woodside Drive is a narrow residential road, and it is home to more than ten children who regularly play, walk, and ride bikes outside. Due to the limited width of the road and lack of traffic control measures, there is little room for error when cars speed through. Many drivers do not slow down, even when children and families are clearly present.

We are deeply concerned that without intervention, it is only a matter of time before a serious accident occurs. The installation of speed bumps would significantly reduce vehicle speeds, discourage cut-through traffic, and create a safer environment for residents, especially children.

We respectfully urge the appropriate authorities to assess our street and take prompt action to implement effective traffic-calming solutions.
