I'm sure everyone in the neighborhood has noticed the increased traffic and the increased incidents of speeding on Wide Acres Rd since Jefferson County Road & Bridge completed re-paving this summer. As a resident deeply invested in our community's well-being, I feel compelled to raise awareness about the urgent need for traffic safety measures in our neighborhood. If nothing is done to slow drivers down, it's not a matter of if, but of when someone is seriously injured or, let's all hope not, killed while walking along Wide Acres Rd.
