​We, the undersigned parents, educators, local business owners, and community members of Chicopee, call upon the Chicopee School Committee, City Council, and City Leadership to take immediate, proactive steps to ensure basic safety and accountability across our public schools.

​We demand immediate action to install security monitoring systems, starting in specialized special education classrooms.

Many students in specialized classrooms are non-verbal or unable to fully advocate for themselves. A secure, transparent environment ensures they are fully protected and cared for at all times.

An Ironclad Shield for Educators:

Front-line staff face impossible conditions and mounting pressures. Secure classroom monitoring provides an undeniable record of truth, protecting dedicated teachers and staff from false claims and vindicating their hard work.

Prioritizing Safety Over Non-Essentials:

We are constantly told the district faces tight budget constraints. Yet, the public regularly sees funds allocated for discretionary expenses and high-cost administrative items that could easily cover basic safety infrastructure. When the district evaluates its budget, the security and well-being of our children and educators must come first.
