As a concerned citizen and parent living at the intersection of Glen Ct and Heidelberg Heights Rd for a decade, we are frightened by the daily acts of traffic violations we personally witness. Speeding while our kids play in the park, drivers not even stopping at the stop signs, and dangerous driving through bus stops while children are boarding or alighting are all serious concerns.

Our community is made up of families with young children who are under constant threat due to these reckless actions. While waiting at the bus stop or playing in the park, no child or parent should fear for their life. Traffic-related injuries are a leading cause of death for children and young adults aged 5-29 years, according to the World Health Organization.
