The PV2 survey promised by HCC is being conducted TODAY, 2nd Dec 2014 from 7am to 7pm. Let's hope the road is busy enough with pedestrians AND cars today to push the figure over the threshold where HCC MUST fund installation of a controlled crossing. The last PV2 survey was in 2011 at which time the figures came into the 'discretionary' boundaries so the crossing was put on the waiting list for funding. There have been changes to the PV2 formula, in particular the 'weighting' for under 16's has INCREASED which should help push the result over the required threshold to force HCC to fund the controlled crossing. If you are able to use this road today, as a pedestrian or as a driver, please do as it will add to the figures. If you were planning on collecting your child from school today - please let them walk instead as it will increase our chances of a positive outcome. Thank you
