Dear fellow residents, Township Directors, and Precinct 3:

Numerous vehicles, including school buses, are parking on Indigo Circle, a no-outlet neighborhood street in the neighborhood of Indigo Sky, to access Falconwing Park despite there being several large parking lots available to accommodate park visitors. This influx of parked vehicles poses a significant safety risk to residents and compromises the tranquility of our community. The vehicles tend to block one lane, making it difficult for residents to navigate the street safely. Additionally, the constant parking on the street damages the grass, prevents neighbors from backing out of their driveways, and blocks view of pedestrians, including children, making it hazardous for everyone.

Indigo Sky is designed to be a peaceful, residential area, not an overflow parking lot. The existing parking lots at Falconwing Park are ample and should be communicated effectively to visitors, ensuring they utilize those spaces instead of congesting our neighborhood street.

By installing 'No Parking' signs on Indigo Circle, we can mitigate these safety risks and maintain the area’s intended use as a safe and quiet neighborhood. This simple yet powerful solution will ensure that our community remains safe and enjoyable for our residents. We are confident that once these signs are installed, ALL visitors will make proper use of the designated parking lots and cease using our streets for overflow parking.
