Update from Peter Roche office - Question raised in the Dail today

Peter Roche

Hi Davitt,

I hope you are well.

Pete raised the issue directly with the Minister on the floor of the Dáil today. You can watch the full exchange on his Instagram later. We now understand that the Department is preparing a new strategy, and we are hopeful that it will include a funding mechanism to address this issue.

In the meantime, I will follow up with the Ministers officer re: the details of your concerns, including the specific issues on your road, to see whether the Department can support Galway County Council in carrying out a review of the L2212.

I am still awaiting a response from the Council and will revert to you as soon as I receive an update.

All the best,

Cian
