I am proposing an appropriate sized 150-foot giant flagpole with a 30 × 60-foot flag be installed at Ground Zero / Freedom Tower as a long-overdue tribute to those lost on September 11, 2001, and to the sacrifice of first responders, serving as a visible symbol of strength, unity, and resilience. This memory should be honored every day, not only on anniversaries, and we should never be ashamed to display our flag proudly. 

As we approach the 25th anniversary of this tragic day and the 250th anniversary of our great country, we call upon city officials, community leaders, and concerned citizens to advocate for the installation of a giant permanent flagpole at this solemn location to create a meaningful, reflective space where the heroic stories of 9/11 are immortalized and continue to inspire future generations.
