I am a dog owner living near North Woodmere Park. Sadly, my beautiful canine companion lacks a nearby location where they can freely play, exercise, and socialize with other dogs. This deprivation is shared by many dog owners in our area. Studies indicate that dog parks are beneficial not only for the dogs but also for the community. They create a social environment and promote responsible pet ownership (source: NC State University Study, 2010).

Currently, North Woodmere Park, located in our neighborhood, misses out on this opportunity. Therefore, I propose the installation of a dog park within it. Designating this park will greatly enhance our pet's quality of life and will provide a common ground for us, the community, to connect.
