A student’s walk home from school should be safe. For many, like me, this walk includes crossing the intersection between Chuckanut Dr. and Willow Rd. I walk home most days, and it is true that the intersection can be a hazard. Cars sometimes stop for me, but usually they do not, sometimes even when I am already on the road. A crosswalk light would make this walk much safer and prevent potential accidents.
