Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms in the world. As of May 2018, certain users have been banned, shadow banned, or otherwise reported despite following Instagram’s clearly stated community guidelines. In fact, many have even had their accounts deleted or seized as a result of an unfair decision. It has gotten so far as to the hashtag “#women” even being banned and its posts being hidden. Surely the word ‘women’, or women themselves are not against Instagram’s guidelines, are they? Tell Instagram to review its community guidelines and stop punishing the very users that have given it all of its success as a company. The unfair censorship must end!
