@Juicybignut was a meme page that was created  by an Oregon teenager known as Magnus back in 2016. Over the 3 years of the accounts existence, it gained 267,000 followers by posting creative, original, and funny content, and was widely known by its followers as the “best meme page on Instagram.”

Recently, Instagram has deleted a massive amount of meme accounts due to violations of their terms of service, specifically profiting off the app. This “purge” of the meme pages of Instagram began on July 26, and even accounts with up to 12 million followers were removed by Instagram. This morning, @Juicybignut was added to the list of the many meme pages that Instagram has removed in recent days.

This petition attempts to have Instagram reinstate @Juicybignuts account. Although Magnus did post a few advertisements on his Instagram story every so often, his account was removed unfairly and without warning. We ask Instagram to restore the account of someone who make 267,000 people’s lives a little bit better in a generation where anxiety and depression are through the roof, and who’s account is mainly followed by members of this generation. Join us in helping reinstate @juicybignut to Instagram.
