Well...we're here. It's today. Thursday. And I am sick with fear. The Architect (who has been wonderful) is out of the Country. The JP liaison from the Mayor's office is not coming. For most people, the time, location, lack of good public transportation access or easy parking makes attending difficult. The viciousness, conjecture, outright fabrications, and contentiousness of the previous steps in this "community process", although both votes favored granting the Variance needed to legalize my shed/workshop, have been so awful that I am dreading yet another go round. If anyone who supports the City honoring their agreements, honoring the permit they gave me before deciding it was a "mistake", and therefore granting the Variance needed to legalize the shed, are able to come and have your voice heard, we'd be enormously grateful. Thank you.
