In 2023, Sweetwater Haven homeowners paid $710,000 in taxes (15%) toward the $4.7m municipal local tax levy.  These tax dollars represent 55 houses (66 voters) on New Hampshire Ave, Venice Ave, Schooner Ln, Musket Ln, Quartermasters Ct, and Smugglers Ln including the 35 members of the Sweetwater Haven Association. 

Roads within the neighborhood are cracking, have vegetation growing through gaps and potholes and water gathering in front of driveways rather than properly making its way to storm drains, posing safety hazards.

The members, neighbors and friends of the Sweetwater Haven homeowners association hereby insist the the Township Committee of Mullica Township annually update a pavement management plan, create budget for municipal road paving in the annual municipal budget and prioritize roads within Sweetwater Haven area of the township given the poor road and drainage conditions.
