Inscription of Stone for October 7th Massacre Victims at Holocaust Memorial Park, Brooklyn

On October 7, 2023, a bloody massacre of Jews occurred in southern Israel, claiming the lives of many innocent victims. The terrorist group Hamas that ruled the Gaza Strip perpetrated the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust.  Hamas had the “same intention” to wipe out the Jewish people as the Nazis. More than 1,200 Israelis have been killed by Hamas and more than 2,000 Jews were injured. Many women and girls were raped and their bodies were mutilated. Entire families were killed. Babies were burned inside houses.Terrorists also kidnapped more than 200 men, women, and children to hold them as hostages. This tragic event has left a deep impact on Jewish communities worldwide, including those in New York.

In memory of those who lost their lives and to honor their legacy, we propose the engraving of a commemorative stone in the Holocaust memorial park at the entrance to Sheepshead Bay,  Brooklyn .
