Inkberrow20 - make a 20mph speed limit on Inkberrow High Street

The Issue

Inkberrow High Street is a destination for Inkberrow School, the Forge Shop, the Bull's Head Pub and dozens of houses with drives directly onto the road. The school no longer has a lollipop lady because she resigned after nearly being run over three times. The road does not have pavements on either side along its length. It has poor visibility junctions on Pepper Street and Stonepit Lane. It is sub-standard in highway design terms. It should have a 20 mph limit between Chaston Close and Sands Road. 20 mph zones are nearly universal in Oxfordshire towns and many built-up areas in England and Wales. Worcestershire County Council can be forced to lower the speed limit, and this petition is the start of that process. In the mean time, regulate yourselves and lower your own speed to 20 mph!
