We, the concerned residents of this community, bare witness to danger on an almost daily basis— the kind of danger that a simple speed bump on Rosemary Drive and in front of Katherine Dunn School could mitigate. Every evening, Rosemary Drive turns into a makeshift racecourse – a straight, tempting runway that causes a black Honda and friends to race down the street regularly, obviously disregarding the safety of our community.

Rosemary Drive is not just a road; it's part of our home. It's where we walk our dogs, where our children play and where many kids cross to get to school. Many people park their secondary vehicles on the road, making it congested on both sides of the street. Such dangerous, high-speed driving poses an immediate threat to our neighborhood's safety and serenity.

The threat is not hypothetical, it's real and all too common. Let's remind everyone that Rosemary Drive is a residential area, not a racetrack. We urgently need to install speed bumps to discourage speeding and protect our community members, particularly our children.

We call upon our city council, our elected representatives, to prioritize our safety and quality of life. Please install speed bumps on Rosemary Drive and in front of Katherine Dunn School!
